After New Orleans we drove to Mobile and on the way stopped at Biloxi, a lovely seaside town. We went on a really cool and interesting shrimp boat trip in the bay. Then we went back to Peter and Gail's for a drink until it was time to walk next door to a restaurant for dinner. It was great to see them both and we really enjoyed seeing the area where they winter. Wednesday FEB 11: moving to PENSACOLA today. We left in good time and arrived at our new park around 12:30/1:00. After getting set up and running a couple of errands ...

... 3 of us spend a few hours exploring this road. It was a photographer’s paradise with beautiful Cypress groves, large Bromeliads on the trees, and many birds, fish, and gators. Tuesday, 11/11 – Today we had a 2 hour boat tour scheduled with Everglades Area Tours. Said goodbye to Ziggy and as we drove out our campground noticed 3 cars pulled over right by the entrance. There on the side of the road was a freshly killed 12 foot python stretched out.  ...
