... at theTiki Bar or Bridget's Cross, stuffed grouper at the City Pier or seafood pasta at home we had a splendid time. Many books were devoured, many steps taken, many miles cycled and thousands and thousands of calories, both comestibles and potables consumed with a few thousand less burned.
Sadly we are slowly packing our respective cars as this must all come to an end on Saturday. Weather has been great, only a few ...

Tom became a congressman in the state capital Tallahassee 30 plus years ago and then later served as mayor of Dunedin for an 8 year term. He was in office when the blue jays first came to Dunedin. Our destination Monday was to travel into Tampa Bay for an evening hockey game. Left our apt. By 2pm and found ourselves in the heart of downtown very quickly so made a quick decision to hike over to the TB History center . It was wonderfully informative on the history and settling of the city and the surrounding area. ... warming will resume this month. First, some of the over 100 inches ( that's a lot of centimetres) of snow accumulated in Massachusetts will begin to melt. Soon thereafter, Niagara Falls will begin to thaw and fall again. Right about then, Steve will have to bring in his ice fishing hut and get out his boat. Wildlife such as loons will suddenly fly North with reckless abandon, Mosquitos will procreate like flies and attempt to sustain ...

... Joanna and her husband Geoff in Durham, NC. We have heard such great things about this town and were eager to check it out. While we only had a few hours, and it was dark, they gave us a thorough and informative driving tour, including a tour of the Duke campus which was fun. The next day, we hit the road to Virginia for a quick visit, and then the home stretch -- 7 hours further north arriving in NJ around 10 PM on Dec. 22.

Overall, a great way to spend December!
