There was a ladies' boutique across the road where they were practically giving their clothes away (or that's what Lara told me) - Lara purchased a flowing dark green dress (stunning).     ... no where else in America this is a must - I want to live here. Went horse riding in the morning - very gentle trek Garden of the Gods for an hour good fun and a great guide. Had a quick nose around the historic district of Colorado Springs before going on the cog rail way up Pikes Peak a heady 14100 ft - definitely need plenty of water for the trip, mum was fine on the trip up but i had to drink to keep the headache away - at the top i felt ...

    ... just partially closed and forklift drivers had to risk their lifes for us. After 3,5 days building we were ready, now we could start thinking about the load out...that was gonna be a hard time too while 2/3 of the gear had to go in seacans back to Europe.
