Highway to Hell
... to pass tons of them and the visibility wasn't great! But it was dark so Very easy to see if there was any oncoming traffic. That and the guy in front of me part way thru had the same idea - Yes!! 17 trucks later the road was still ******. They hadn't taken the graders to it yet so the evening's snowfall was built up along the sides. Enough traffic so there was at least some clear roads in the center.
Uneventful and decided to go through the town ...
First Oil Change

Tomorrow we get a little closer to Vancouver, which means a little closer to Dan Cookson!!! WOOHOO!! We have plans to meet up with him on Thursday evening, and he's given us some advice on a campsite to check out tomorrow night, with more hot springs! So glad that we did this trip, it really is a beautiful country.

Old Stomping Grounds...Maybe
... parks along the river- did they even have parks when I was here, saw the new arena for the Blazers hockey team, was there an old arena or even a team, and marveled at the historic Red Bridge that crosses the Thompson River- don't remember the bridge but I do remember the river...or am I thinking about the Amazon.

More falls
... and our car is not very reliable, so we have to skip that part and the trails we planned to do there. Maybe driving at 10 kph we could reach the end, but weather is not very fine, and if it starts raining and the road gets muddy, we will be in serious trouble. So we leave the park sooner than we thought and head up to Kamloops, only 100 km away. We will have time to regain our strength for the hard days coming soon in the rockies.
