Arrivederci Sardinia…
... the kids over the weekend but spent all day with them yesterday. We took a trip into Palau for gelato - totally delicious and after avoiding the temptation for the first 2 weeks have now had about 4… It was good to walk around Palau, as I had never been there before. We did a bit more work this afternoon and then chilled out on the beach – I really do love catching the last of the sun, on a lounger, reading my book. The light is so beautiful then and it is definitely my best time of the day. ... so fast. Once I got back I dived straight into the sea – so cool that I started and ended the day with a gorgeous swim!
Tonight, the dinner conversation finally moved from curing cancer, directing Oscar nominated animated features and taking the Internet down to an A to Z of 80’s pop bands! Phew – these people are normal after all…

... we had already agreed on a late start today as we had a really late night last night. We were all invited round to a friend of their's for pizza. It was just amazing, a stunning entertaining area overlooking the most gorgeous mountains. An insane pizza oven and what seemed like an endless supply of delicious pizzas. And of course a whole lot of people who didn’t speak any English – I seriously have to learn ...
