Leaving Devil's Tower after a restful 2 nights the top of the peak was shrouded in fog and chilly . Yesterday, it was in the eighties and very sunny. We drove up to the visitor's center located close to the top. The area around the tower is considered scared by the Native Americana's who still have services here. ... beginning to bemoan our decision to make this unnecessary diversion when we were all of a sudden very clearly on one of or the most scenic journeys in America. I thought 18 days was ...

Montana is also big on "bear". They have bear in every name you can think of. Hit lots of road construction as well. Some at 35 miles an hour. The blue steed did really well. We have her loaded up and still got 33 miles per gallon. On lots and lots of up and down road. Wanted ...

... a canon at them. The military had guns and all the Indians had were bows and arrows. We also did some shopping in Story, WY and had lunch at the Busy Bee in Buffalo, WY which was part of the Occidental Hotel. What is a funny story now but wasn't at the time is Susan ordered a salad that was supposed to have broccoli, cauliflower and carrots on it. The salad the waitress brought didn't have anything but a piece of cucumber and ...
