Venice beach is beautiful. The atmosphere really sets the scene here. Wide stretches of sand that lead up to boardwalks, shops, skate bowl, and restaurants. Tall palm trees line the beach edge with rollerbladers, bike cruisers, skateboarders and street performers all weaving their way around. Mixed in, the hippies, the druggies, ...

... a ride on a serious roller coaster without actually going anywhere.  Another 4D experience at Shrek 4D which is feeling a little dated, cute but not as good as i remember. An auditorium set up with jolting chairs and three dimensional footage.  The sun was rapidly moving towards the horizon before we lined up for the final Waterworld show of the day. ... explore on our way out and watched the final 3 outs as the place erupted and cameras went off everywhere and the team rushed the pitcher's mound. It was all very exciting, even for non-Dodger fans like us! Getting home was much more smooth and we were back in our little room by 11. ESPN had coverage of the game and it made #1 in the day's Top 10 Plays. Now it was time to pack and get ready to say GOOD BYE to CA. But first we ...

Besides I had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory yesterday . The portion was such a giant one that I didn't eat anything else that day. It could have been the 1000-calories-kind-of cheesecake for 8 bucks as well...who knows ^^

On Tuesday I had lunch at Hooters which wasn't anything special. But it was the first time that I watched a championsleague soccer game (Bayern:Manu, Atletico:Barca) at noon :)
