... we ate at Buffalo Wild Wings (or something like that). Ryan, naturally, tried the wings; they have something like 18 different sauces ranging from sweet to super spicy. Ryan had a 'middle range' sauce and within a the first few bites his eyes were watering & his mouth was on fire. He couldn't eat many more after that. For Ryan not to eat spicy food because it is too hot, it must be bloody hot! (Spicy hot, not Carl Baron's 'hot ...

We took a few detours, got off the highway in a few wrong spots, and had a few people beep at us for doing the wrong thing (in their eyes, anyway). On top of this, nowhere at all until you're out of the main area of LA (probably about 40 minutes?), is there a sign with the speed limit on it. As a tourist, this just makes everything even harder!

Had no problems at the gate first one on the plane and waited for others to get on the ...

Drove abut 20 km Santa Monica Beach. We got there with just enough light to make out the horizon. It was good to feel the moist cool sea breeze. The beach is very broad. The pier was surprisingly underdeveloped compared to Fishermans wharf in SF. There seemed to be more locals, even fisherman. Also checked out Venice beach but it was deserted in the night.

... years. Blake and I will both be leaving with a special gift... colds yippee. He has been sick the past few days and has passed it onto me. Such a lucky girl I am!

Our flight to LA was quicker than expected, we landed a half hour early. Super Shuttle drove us all to our accommodation where Mike was the only one who's apartment was ready so we ditched our bags and went for a walk along Hollywood Boulevard. We started with ...
