    ... these animals in Sea World might not exactly be the way it is supposed to be, and the story of Free Willy was constantly in the back of my mind, but I was very impressed by what the animals were capable of and had great respect for their trainers. Besides the killer whale show we were also blown away by the dolphins, penguins, turtles, sharks and many more beauties of the sea. We stayed in the park until closing time and then headed to Coronado Island for more tacos!

    ... get to see the Hollywood Sign, it was off into the distance and a bit of a funny angle but we at least got to see it, so there’s that box ticked. And then a bit later we were walking out from our hotel, turned left instead of right and there it was, huge and almost within spitting distance, so that tour was totally worth it. We did get to see the crookedy house that’s in a split second scene in Clueless though, so there’s that.

    ... have placed their hands and feet in concrete - my favourite was Roy Rogers and Trigger (1949) which says a bit about my vintage.

    Then a slow drive around the area where numerous celebrities have bought homes while our guide delighted in telling us how many millions of dollars they had paid for them. We stopped off at Universal Studios for lunch.

    And then a stop to take photos of the famous HOLLYWOOD sign on the hillside.

    ... for the day! Jenny and her friend Amy picked us up from the hotel at 11am. We were so excited to meet her! And she had made a box full of cake balls for Nikki and I to try! It had loads of flavours and it was so so so yummy!! We first went to the Johnny Cupcakes store! We were pumped! The store looked amazing! Vintage oven doors on the wall opening with steam flowing out of them! A huge gigantic green vintage oven up to the Celine opening into there storage ...

    ... off to San Fran. Not before bumping the curb, scratching the hub cap up real good and causing a flat. No insurance so I was a bit of a mess! I ended up changing out cars with Thrifty in San Fran and am dreading the bill. **** happens right! So anyway, spent the morning driving in and around SF, over the infamous Golden Gate Bridge, stopping at viewpoints, etc. Sweet morning!
