On the beach, there were several small areas cordoned off with sign saying that these were turtle egg laying spots! The sea on the gulf coast is like bath warm. We spent all day sunbathing, but Jess was a bit careful as she burnt her bum the day before! In the ...

We set off from Clearwater, deciding that the gulf coast was lovely, and hoping for more of the same as we headed further south. Our next stop was at Sarasota.....briefly for some brunch and a quick look round. I'd remembered a place in Naples from when I visited Florida in 1989 called First Watch that did ...

We tumbled into Marcus's brother and sister-in-law’s beach house on Sunday night, and immediately thrust the kids into the sea air for a sunset walk on the beach. ... in London people!!!

    What we learnt about ourselves:

    1. Travelling with a two year old is surprisingly fun.
    2. Camping as a pregnant is surprisingly not fun.
    3. We should eat more granola.
    4. We should look at the stars more often.
    5. We should spend more time with each other.

Overall, cracking trip. America, it's been emotional. Goodbye and goodnight for now.

Fondest wishes, Ed, Lou, Eva and Baby Cullen
