      ... We were able to get really close to this bird, Charlie says about 6’. He had his talons secured into the bird and was first plucking out the chest feathers, that’s all the fluff lying around. If we got too close, he dragged the bird away a few feet and really kept his eye on us. I love the close up’s I got of him!       ... toys. Nearly everything was taken out, and the house is not nearly as neat as it was when we got home. The dogs REALLY missed the sofa.

      We are home for a few days, then we will start part 2 of the journey..... a 2 week trip to Hawaii. Girls are super excited - we will get home just a day before school starts....
