... We needed to get something to eat, so pulled off the highway to some hick town where at least there was a Subway to ease the hunger pains.

Our hosts had suggested we call them when we arrived in Naselle, but cell phone coverage wasn't working here. Thank goodness the public library was open, and a very helpful lady showed us where there was a free telephone.
Directions out to the farm were fun, but there was ...

Then I headed to my next campground for my second night in a yurt!! I checked in already, and it's not as nice as last night's yurt, although they look almost identical. a few days. Their Zumba routine is known to have “whacked out”
everybody who participated. Their Tahitian moves and dances are so
graceful and can make any frigid man or women come alive (arise??)!
If only our friend Marcelle could see their hips move, oh la la, what
fun she would have, even if only in her dreams...

Continuing south via Route 101 we made our way leaving Washington and entering Oregon over the Astoria–Megler Bridge. The bridge is a steel cantilever through truss bridge that spans the Columbia River. It is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America. The city is situated near the mouth of the Columbia River, it was named after the American investor John Jacob Astor.
