    ... replied that he would let me know as soon as the dust cleared and he could see it again. We reached the end of the construction site to see an overturned car resting on it's hood. It appeared that everyone was OK and we were glad to have made it through safely.     ... and it was a wonderful stay. We had to chop our own wood and warm the place with the wood fueled oven. We were also able to have a campfire in the Teepee and Rita left us all the fixings for smores. The whole night cost us $30 and that included a full breakfast with French Toast and Sausages in the morning.

    ... were told to try Walmart ...about ten miles up the road. We pull in they check the batteries and they are pretty sure they need to be changed. We disconnect the trailer and pull the truck into a bay. OK ...we need this done asap and we need to catch up with everyone. An hour and a half later we have new batteries ...then comes the " I'm sorry.. we really thought it was the batteries...we think ...

    ... road that was a challenge for Shorty, our motorhome. It gave us a chance to "shake things out." That IS a fact.

    Since we've decided to keep him for awhile, we had to reload everything so we could go on this particular...or should I say peculiar expedition? All of the cabinets stayed closed on the challenging gravel road, so no complaints from this end.

    ... me that jerk. He didn't say " oh sorry for getting your recently washed shoes all filthy and coated in mud." He was just complaining and whining about how his waterproof shoes got dirty. Boohoo. If I were the parent he wouldve been scrubbing my shoes with a tooth brush until they were 100 percent spotless. But I don't get a say so now my shoes are filthy. That jerk.
