... full of nervous first time jumpers it'd be a very different feeling! We approached the airfield and saw our plane which was tiny! It took us about 20 minutes to climb to the 14,000 feet we'd be jumping out of the plane from. We were sat strapped to our instructors with me and Dan sat right by the door which was open for much of our ascent. The view from the plane was so beautiful, the sea looked incredible and so turquoise! Eventually we got to the height ...

Jose died in his 60's and eventually the park was sold and over the years has suffered cyclone and fire damage.

    Lot's of love/Groetjes,

    Shirley and Mark.

... a bus waiting. And one dropping people off just before the ferry departs. The system works very well.

So we took a few circuits of the island, checking out each beach - all lovely - and swam in several. The most developed town was called Horseshoe Bay, much nicer than the previous Horseshoe Bay, and we had a lovely lunch there.

Townsville is the point at which the road heads west, but before we set off in that direction we wanted to go a bit further north to check out ...
