We did several things all together over the month including a few trips to Innisfail for shopping (as mission beach is pretty much a village with an extra bar, coffee shop and clothes shop). Trips to Tully, We went on the lovely trail walks around the rainforest, spent days on the beach (when the rain finally budged), pool parties, Attended a wedding!!!, BBQs and picnics, and generally hung out and had a lot of laughs ...

On arrival we registered and watched the safety video. The
registering process began to slow down as the weather closed in and rain
and clouds took over the sky! My ...

... in the town before leaving the following morning for Townsville. Townsville was our port for the next stop on our island visits; Magnetic Island. We hopped on a ferry over and spent the next couple of days sunbathing by the resort pool, watching boats sailing through the seas, and searching for wild koalas and wallabies in our hired Barbie car. Yep, a Barbie car. These things are prolific throughout Magnetic Island; tiny toy-like cars decked out with pink wheels, pink ...
