    ... and some bobbing turtle heads. Gorgeous views. On our drive we were on the lookout for cassowary birds. They are a very large black bird with blue heads and reddish necks. They are said to be vital to the rainforest because they eat large amounts of fruit and nuts which are excreted and furthers propagation of the rain forest.     ... Bay. We were hoping to see Cassowaries which are fairly common here. On our beach walk we collected various plastics (we're in a bit of an anti plastic mission since learning more about the damage plastic does to the marine environment - specifically turtles), we even found a fluorescent light bulb sticking out of the sand.     ... as when you hit one rapid and try and take another breath it will just hit you. I jumped first so Jack could follow me and took a deep breath, I was able to control my breathing and kept breathing through my nose and whenever I came up for air. When we saw the team leader we had to swim as hard as possible as just beyond them was a waterfall which we didn't want to go down!!! I have never swam so hard and fast in all my life.
