      We still hadn't seen a cassowary so we were advised to stay at Etty Bay, a very cute and tiny caravan park right on the beach, with the rainforest right behind it. Apparently cassowaries come down from the rainforest into the park nearly every day. We waited until about 4pm then decided to go to Mourilyan to see the sugar museum before it shut. You got it! The cassowary came in the hour and a half we were in town....

      ... full of nervous first time jumpers it'd be a very different feeling! We approached the airfield and saw our plane which was tiny! It took us about 20 minutes to climb to the 14,000 feet we'd be jumping out of the plane from. We were sat strapped to our instructors with me and Dan sat right by the door which was open for much of our ascent. The view from the plane was so beautiful, the sea looked incredible and so turquoise! Eventually we got to the height ...
