    We felt it was time to leave Koh Samui. We thought it was a lovely island however we were ready for a challenge.....that challenge being doing our open water padi licence. A two hour boat ride and we arrive in Ko Tao. As we were pulling into Mae Head Pier, we had a feeling that we were going to fall in love with this island. We walked off the boat to swamps of Thai people going "taxi! Miss where you going?!" We are used to this hounding now so we just walked straight past.

    ... was no station never mind announcements or signs! It turns out we were running an hour late and when we checked the maps on our phone could see we were miles away! Opting to doze again we were woke up by the conductor who kindly woke everyone at their respective stations - a lesson we now know for next time! We arrived at Good Times Hostel (also a diving centre), and were greeted by a very friendly Aussie girl who checked us in early and showed us to our clean 8 bedded dorm. We had a quick chat with the three girls already in there before heading for a late breakfast.
