    ... traveling up the California coast -- and did so again yesterday. Today I drove to see another lighthouse while Dan R&R'd in the trailer. The Point Montara Lighthouse, built in 1873 and still in use today, stands on a rocky bluff only 70 feet above the ocean so that the light is visible beneath the high fog in the Bay area.     ... was very unusual -- first a half-mile hike, then a bridge, then a narrow tunnel through the rock, then another half-mile hike, and finally a suspension bridge. We made it and the views were definitely worth it. The lighthouse was built in 1877 and positioned on the rock to be below the high fog in the Bay.     ... winery we stopped at was on the south side of the quaint town of St. Helena, the V. Sattui Winery. It is a family owned winery that was established in 1885 by Vittorio Sattui who later closes his wine making company because of prohibition in 1920. The great grandson of Vittorio, Dario Sattui, reopened the winery through a grandfather clause in 1975. The wine was excellent!
