... We checked in and got shown where our room was....a little house with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and veranda. There was even a bbq area out the back. The pool was hidden away somewhere, but we never looked for it. The house was perfect. We settled in, then headed to the beach....a two minute walk down the road. The beach was beautiful, and the hotel ...

... flight we experienced a medical emergency. I was glad I could assist the flight attendant with the defibrillator. After a return emergency landing back at Denver, we made it to Anchorage around 1 am local time (4 am Florida time). At last it hit 25 the sun came out and I got to frolic for 10 seconds in the 61F gulf of Mexico. The pool was much warmer. So thanks Al Gore both for the Internet and for global warming, your inventions are great.
Today marked the official beginning of warmth and sun shine. We ...

It's been quite a while since we drove from Ohio to Florida. We have never traveled with a dog (except to move from LA to Columbus). So the entire trip was long and sometimes challenging. According to the GPS it would take 10 hrs Columbus to Macon, GA and another 6+ to Anna Maria Island. In actuality it took nearly 12 hours to Macon. We spent the night at a La Quinta with Sammy. Another first. Going in ...
