Up bright and early today, say my goodbyes to Andrew and Calum. Out the door with my house for the next while on my back. As we were walking in the Vancouver airport we noticed a lot of folks around taking pictures of a group of ladies. I noticed they had an outline of Italy on the back of their Shirts. Another lady told us that the group was heading to Italy to participate in the World Dragon Boat Meet in Ravenna. Sunday night would usually end with Jim and I asleep in the car as the Cumberland ferry made its ponderous way from Galiano to Pender to Swartz Bay, but what a satisfying sleep it always was!
