    ... was much larger than you would expect. Once we got to the top we went to find some bears, and we found some! (In a cage!) they were nice but bit sad for them all caged up. We went up in the chair lift to the peak and the views were amazing. You can see a huge very snow capped mountain not far away, and the views were spectacular.     I have been off air for couple days as I was hit by the Alaskan Flu!!! Knocked me for a 6 and had to spend couple days in bed!! The first day Ian, Cally and Thomas got of the ship at Ketchikan and did a water plane flight to the misty fiords, they said it was good but haven't shown me any photos!!!!! cally said Ketchikan was a nice little town!     ... any better. Since it was a holiday in BC we were concerned about finding a campground that night so we plugged an Information Center into the GPS. We never did find that Information Center. There were a couple of little towns along the way that looked interesting to stop and see. They were but we had a heck of a time finding what we wanted to see. We missed a second Information Center, did not see it until we were leaving. ...

    ... with the property, the island and the adventure of building Fiddlesticks Cottage, which began late in 2005 and was completed in early summer 2006.

    Many more projects here have since been embarked upon: gardens, including a large vegetable and berry garden, a wildflower meadow, a sleeping cabin and several other useful sheds, with more projects to come - "all in the fullness of time" - the phrase with which Jim responds to my frequent, "Why don't we....?".
