Worked until noon, then home for a shower and closing the house. Willemstad drove us to YVR and we are now in the Premium Lounge watching the aircraft and waiting for boarding at 4:00. The connecting flight to Brussels looks quire full so who knows how long the trip will take. Well we are finally leaving will be 20 min late and W is fretting but we are on vacation so No problem. We all enjoyed a couple of hours jumping off of a fallen tree into the ice cold, but refreshing water. Was great entertainment and best of all it was ...

... scenery here is beautiful is an understatement for the jaw dropping, gobsmacking vistas at every turn. Lakes, fir trees, mountains both near and far can be viewed everywhere. Sholeh and I visited "Living Forest" a caravan park on the ocean set in a verdant forest of firs, Cedars, Maples and so on. There are many full time residents here and they have personalised their sites in pretty and quirky ways, such as a Minion and ...

... a friendly city and while the sun shone a very pleasant to city to walk about. Our first journey was round the sea wall of Stanley Park which was right next to our apartment. This park sticks out into the water and is a lovely mix of wild and formal. Walking around the edge was a great tramp and took us back into the older west end of the city. Here there were whole streets of lovely old low rise properties with proper gardens and masses of street greenery. We ...
