... half an hour (which turns out to be ten minutes). We get off the train and are pleased to see that there is a sign marked Cancona - we are in the right place. It's 4.40am. A tuk tuk takes us to our hotel. We wonder if it will be locked up? We lug our bags into reception and conclude we should wait there when a head pops up from behind the counter. ... I watched as they gutted the pomfret. Then we learned how to combine a bunch of different spices together to make the masala (mix) paste, and tandoori. After preparing everything, we went back to freshen up, and then, right before dinner, we cooked our prawns and fish. For the Tandoori pomfret, we had to leave it for 15 mins in a clay oven. We also got to try different starters, including our popadoms and paneer pieces with cold tomato soup. Everything was so tasty! Heavenly!

... and hire a paddle ski for a couple of hours, and view the local bays. There are beach huts perched everywhere. Managed to get the ski out through the surf without falling off. Coming back, a boat in front fell off, we got on the wave and surfed in, pity we fell of at the last moment, we would have looked really cool.
