Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. Well we pulled out of the campground at 8:20 to an accident on the main road. Because we had to turn left and they were down to 1 lane we had to wait 15 minutes before we could leave. Crossed over the Mississippi at Baton Rouge. We have seen it many times in various places but here I know what they mean by the muddy Mississippi. What a long day. It turns out that this is merely a huge craft fair that takes place on the Thursday through Sunday before the first Monday of each month, and the largest of the year is the Christmas one that takes place in October. ... and visibility was poor, the camera performed admirably. The plane we were exploring was coated in a layer of algae but had a couple functioning doors and several entry points. I managed to get some okay video of what was left of the cockpit and the the rest of the plane was pretty gutted.
