        ... all we waited an hour or so before letting them out and then I started cleaning the hooves of the ponies and brushing them before clearing there enclosure. Jessie was doing the same job with the big horses but she felt a bit wary at first because they are very large but she did a good job.         No driving today. Willie getting a well-earned rest. Yesterday's mileage was 270 after all our deviations. We are now 55 miles north of San Francisco.         ... the tile next day. It is harder than it looks! You have to get the thin-set stuff just so, pffft! I only got about 10 tiles down, Dave got about 25 in the same amount of time.
