      ... no one was in his way.

      Everything happened so fast that no one got the truck’a license plate number but I thought to call 911 as he pulled away. A Caltrans worker and I gave a good description to the dispatcher and we were told to wait for the CHP to arrive.

      As we were finally sitting down to eat another Cal Trans worker came and told us that because of our quick actions the CHP caught the truck driver. Good!!!

      ... proclaimed to be one of the "most dangerous" spots on the coast because of sneaker waves, riptide, undercurrents and something else.

      Was getting toward the end of the day and we start looking at places to stay. Wrights Beach is a small state park and only had one site available. Some of the sights have ocean front views but this particular one did not so we drove on toward Bodega Dunes State Park.

      ... a Tiki Bar there, so besides the waste plumbing, we got the Tiki Bar put together. We also put up the canvas car cover, (including Dave’s homemade tin floor made from a recycled heating duct) and put up some new fencing in the front yard. The place is really beginning to look habitable!

      ... my neighbor is that when the deer show up to eat my fruit, they no longer crash, boom, bang over the cheesy wood strips I laid before to keep the weeds down. Speaking of which, we had a MASSIVE crop of little cherry plums. Very tasty! Unfortunately the pear tree has some kind of disease, so this year it was a bust. The black berries are just starting to get ripe, so I am grabbing a few here and there.
