... so Amy and I captured our photos, read the sign boards and then left. This was my first 'ah ha' moment of the trip and one moment that I will remember forever. After Juliet's balcony, we walked to the river flowing though the city to capture the beauty of the fallen autumn leaves along the cobble stone paths that lines the bridge over the river. It was nice just wandering around, enjoying Verona before we headed back in to the main area. We both were desperate to get our ...

We missed the green light by 1 min and had to wait 20 mins before it was our turn!! It rained most of the 3.5 hours drive over fantastic autostrada's and it cost about €30 in tolls. We had such perfect weather over the last week we didn't mind ...

... on our first train that took 3 1/2 hours and brought us to Verona, Italy. The train ride was the prettiest route I have been on. We pasted tons of mountains and vineyards, which were really breathtaking. When we arrived I really wanted to stay a few hours and walk around because this is the town where Romeo and Juliet took place, and the location of the "love letters to Juliet" wall. Even though I don't think Matt was interested in this at all, he was good sport about it and ...
