Van El Chalten naar Bariloche gaat via de Ruta 40, een extreem lange route die nog steeds voor het grootste gedeelte niet geasfalteerd is. Het resultaat: een avontuurlijke reis met een klein oponthoud van 2 1/2 uur omdat de bus in Perito Moreno stuk was. Daar sta je dan met een bus vol mensen. Gelukkig is er dan altijd wel een backpacker die met een gitaar zorgt voor muzikaal vermaak :)
