We woke up bright and early (630am) to eat and get started on our planned hike in Haleakala. Breakfast was at Grandma's Coffee (http://www.grandmascoffee.com/) and we both got the bagel breakfast sandwich, which was pretty solid. ... Byodo-In Temple. It is a shrine dedicated to the first Japanese to arrive in Hawaii in 1898. The next and most spectacular stop we made was at Hanauma Bay.
