    ... in his tire... we stopped at the gas station trying to find a tire shop that was either open on a sunday, or the labor day holiday that followed... no luck. We headed back to camp worried about the tire situation feeling helpless. When we arrived we told Ronda of our troubles and she called Ken over with no sense of concern. Within 5 mins the tire was patched and refilled with air. These people were amazing.

    ... fried pickles--surprisingly they are not nearly as disgusting as they sound. I ate them all.

    So we marked another year of marriage with another drive-in, another minor league ballpark, and the continuation of a geocache-a-day streak, all despite the perfidious rain. We will have to come back at the end of September to try again for the ATV ride, but all in all, it was a good trip.
