Thank you everyone for being with us in prayer and in spirit as we made our journey across the Atlantic Ocean. It was a splendid journey and wonderful to re-connect with some of our previous exchange students and their families!
I asked each family member for their faves from each place we visited so here we go:
Beth- My first passport stamp of the trip and I bought some beautiful tulip bulbs!
... It was a fantastic journey and would not have been as successful or enjoyable without all of their assistance and companionship. Until we see you again Auf Wiedersehen, Au revoir, Adios, Nakemiin, Farvel, "Goodbye"!

... now in Michigan. Rode to try to see Lake Michigan this afternoon but was only able to see a very small part. It looked very big and very rough as the wind was blowing. We left Ohio where it was 91 degrees yesterday and arrived at our campsite to 73 degrees. It was so comfortable that we left the door open and opened windows, something we don't get to do that often. We'll spend two nights here then travel more on Saturday. More to come later.
... so we just stayed on the coach and fixed lunch. By the time we'd finished eating the rain had stopped so Jim took over and on we went to Buckeye Lake.
We got set up in our campsite then went to eat dinner. Jim found a local diner called "Clay's Cafe" in Hebron, OH. You can see pictures attached. It was quaint with stools at the counter that reminded us of our growing up ...
... valley. I told Elysia it made Highway number 1 from Ely, MN to the North shore appear Straight. However, there were covered bridges. After crossing the Ohio river to West Virginia the road continued very crooked, but now it was climbing and falling as well. I was not sure I would ever make it to Uniontown, ...
