... rain had followed us to the hike. Our first stop was the Kapa'a Stream where two waterfalls were located. We made our way through magnificent tall trees, picking our way cautiously through slightly muddy terrain. We drove 45 mins to Kapaa and rented cruiser bikes to bike the islands seawall. The trail was very short, maybe 10km and about 45 minute very leisurely bike ride. We stopped at the beach along the way back and had our daily beach time so all in all, we took just over 2 hours to do the do the whole thing and spend an hour at the beach. ...

... and I shopped the duty free shops...finally got on a plane for Honolulu at 5pm their time or 9pm our time! Air Canada charged for everything on both flights even tho one was international and 6 hours and other was 5 hours across, wine, ear phones, blankets, pillows...everything!!!and you had to pay an extra $17 per suitcases booked....and when you got to the waiting room they declared there was no room for carry ons so ...
