... an extended active stay. The only point of concern is the baboons – I would not want to meet them on a hiking trail.

We opted NOT to bungee jump off of the Bloukrans Bridge, purportedly the highest bungee jump in the world. It’s been a great trip, let’s not push our luck.

Today we took the short drive to the last stop on our trip, Plettenburg Bay. Given that it is a Sunday and the views from our guest house are so nice, we are just going to hang out today - walking on the beach, sitting and looking at the bay. ... hum. Still all was well and we headed back to the waterfront to watch the boats and have a cider or two in the sun.

The coach was leaving at 4.30pm to take folks back to the hotel but we and a few others opted to walk instead. It was only a couple of miles and we needed to get some exercise. Lovely walk but a bit sticky. Then, I don't know how, but we somehow found ourselves in the bar again. I'm not sure how this keeps ...

... a couple of the group die a 216 metre bungee jump! Then we crossed the Bloutrans River, across this lovely gauge. We were to then cross more gorges in this lovely part of the garden route. By this time of the day, I had realised, I had injured my right knee from running back from the waterfall. It was getting really stiff and quite sore.

We left an empty house this morning. The lady had left us to it as she had an early appointment elsewhere. We locked up and left the keys in the "rain water pot". Very trusting, but she did have a large “friendly” Doberman called Bino in the main house. The two, big, bouncy Airedales next door were also making sure we behaved ourselves.
