... new 4x4 mutilated by a pair of Toyota bush mechanics. Apologies Mac.

Our decision to make this trip with a custom fitted vehicle without a trailer is the subject of continued debate. The Emmanuel's luxury Conquerer trailer was the source of our envy and let it be known that this was where we were headed until strong advice to the contrary from Brian Flanagan and Mert Black. Following the N2 road from St. Francis, we headed west and drove through Tsitsikamma. Tsitsikamma is famous for bungee jumping but neither Tom or I could bring ourselves to do it! Dad - Yep

Charlie stuck to her words and she jumped off the 213m bridge.

She managed it very gracefully, hurtling towards the ground shaking her hands like she was trying to dry her nail varnish.

The day broke bright and clear, so we set off with our surf boards at 8 in the morning. It was Helen's first time surfing and the strong surf made it a bit challenging; the waves were massive and breaking close to the shore. Joe though managed to stand up a few times. After 2 hours our feet were completely numb and we’d had enough, so we packed it in, packed ...
