We had a crazy packed day today and we just got back to the hotel to drop our car off and catch a taxi back into town. Turns out, Wednesday night is the main music night of the week with traditional local music in all of the pubs! So, we're taxiing it to the pubs so we can drink and listen to music all night. ... famine. All this helped us to understand better how they risked their lives sailing aboard what came to be known as “coffin ships” as so many passengers died during the difficult voyage.
On that happy note, we prepare to continue our own perilous journey - next stop will be the historic port town of Kinsale (“remember the Lusitania”).
