We had a crazy packed day today and we just got back to the hotel to drop our car off and catch a taxi back into town. Turns out, Wednesday night is the main music night of the week with traditional local music in all of the pubs! So, we're taxiing it to the pubs so we can drink and listen to music all night. I'll write more later, so for now, here are some highlighted pics from the day. AWESOME DAY! More to ...

In Kilkenny we went straight to ...

Leaving the campsite at about 9.30am, we renegotiated the bumpy road which had led us here last night. However, we soon got on to the N25 en route to Waterford, in anticipation of visiting the Waterford Crystal Museum. Travelling along in a motorhome, in an elevated position, allowed us to see over hedges to view all of the local habitat including some fantastic det bungs ( estate agent ...

Had a lovely day in Waterford probably longer than we planned. Went to the museum which explained the fascinating history of the place and how prominent a role it played in the religious fight between the crown and the Catholics. It didn't pay to be nobility on the wrong side of the king It was really interesting but I won't inflict text on you here, just leave it to the photos

next we went to the Bishops Palace which ...
