... our heads. Karen went straight down the falls of a large protruding rock and managed to stay on the kayak.

I went down a rapid sans equipment, just using my life vest and holding my feet high out front to ensure that I wasn't going to get snagged on a rock, was great fun.

Got back to the hotel around 6pm...exhausted, had a great steak, wrote this blog and bed.

... in the distance the terrain quickly changed from orchards to flat brown prairies with the huge rocky mountain range to our left in the distance. ... God for bringing him into my life, and for giving me all of this beauty to see. I walked down to the beach and Scott was playing this funny game with one of the girls named Mackenzie. We ended up playing for quite a while with these kids! Playing telephone, spinning them in circles, etc. We love kids and I think they love us too. How wonderful was that moment. ... so instead we went to the Gold Forks Hot Spring. It was amazing to get into a 110 degree pool and reheat my whole body. But walking outside in a bathing suit and flip flops made me feel like my fingers were going to shatter like little ice cubes.
