Weisse Weihnachten: Gibt's halt nicht :-) Hier ist Sommer und somit ist Party-time angesagt! Naja, vielleicht gibt's am Strand etwas Weiss ;-)

... back before the mad rush so we got back to the hostel. But we weren't too tired and the street our hostel is situated on is the beginning of a large strip of houses famous in New Zealand for their outdoor Xmas Decorations. It was lovely walking down and looking at all the porch front houses with picket fences covered in twinkling lights. We were even more impressed when one house had a band playing on the porch, what great community spirit!

Seit Dienstag bin ich jetzt wieder in einem der Vororte von Auckland – Howick bzw. Cockle Bay.
