        ... Woodland Park Zoo. In downtown Seattle. It seemed like thier specialty were birds of all sorts, but they also had a wide variety of african safari animals, although most of those were sleeping in the shade.         ... remarkable for detail, and precise scale for everything from the construction down to the cutlery. Fascinating! One of the unexpected pleasures of the museum visit was watching the dozen or so volunteer artists who were set up around a model, doing charcoal drawings of their interpretations.         This is written after the fact due to dreadful wi-fi on the Ryndam. It was expensive and twenty minutes of time would often result in absolutely nothing. So we quickly gave up using it except for cursory checking of e-mails.
