It's official, I hate Indiana Jones! That wake up call will haunt me forever. I didn't sleep great last night due to the fact I was worried about getting mauled by wild dogs! After a stop for gas and a Diet Coke, we drove three hours to Kings Canyon, the last 100 miles of which was over unpaved roads. I was ready for a holiday and keen to see my friend Josie who had moved to Alice Springs in January, so she and I decided to hike the Larapinta Trail over sections of the West MacDonnell Ranges with a group tour.
