Den 28. skulle vi tidligt op, da vi skulle videre med Kiwi bussen. Det var et trist farvel til Queenstown, da det jo er en mega fed by.


Busturen var laaaaaaaaaaaang. Vi var først i Christchurch kl 16 efter stort set uafbrudt kørsel. I Christchurch blev vi hentet af sød Henry, en fyr vi boede med på Grafton og studerede arkitektur med.

The next morning we left early to head back to Christchurch, first we did some shopping and around 2 pm we went to Hagley Park to wait in the fanzone until the All Blacks would arrive. ... were a little bit disappointed as it wasn't sparkly new and clean like the others. It had a 'been around the block' feel to it, but to be honest it has everything we wanted (except a microwave) and for the price we paid for it compared to the other guys we've been speaking to, it's a great little motor! We were telling each other that we scrimped on the van so we could afford to spend our pennies on World Cup tickets... That's the reason we're here really!

... booked. We headed in anyway, just to be sure.....Nope, they were stilll fully booked! The receptionist explained to us they were renovating part of the hostel because of earthquake damage, so they had a lack of beds, but what they did have was not available. But what about for the 3 nights after Kaikoura, can we book those up now? No, they were booked up for the next 2 weeks!
