It wasn't the best of mornings; I only slept a couple of hours last night, and Barbara woke up congested and with a "chesty cough". I ran to the store for some lemons and made her some hot lemon/honey tea and she dosed with cough medicine. ... took the front forks out completely - this gains quite a lot on the length and also a bit on the height because the steerer tube (now removed) was stuck up above the crossbar. I can do no more - let's hope for some sympathetic staff at the check-in desk. Watch this space - hopefully there will be an entry on Sunday/Monday about assembling the bikes in Rome.

... times, some laughs, some tears (all mine), some scrapes, sunk a few times but it's made us closer, and after nearly 30 years of marriage (phew that long!) it can't be a bad thing :-)
oh there are about another 400 pics to go on FB yet if you can bare it!!!
So here's to the next adventure, wherever it may take us.

Oh and both the kids are home now so my washing and cooking has doubled for a few weeks ...
