    From there we headed the rest of the way to Conway, New Hampshire. I liked this state as well. Their motto "Live Free or Die Hard" kind of resonates with me as a motorcycle enthusiast.     ... one car at a time. This made for some nerve testing moments, especially since this is the only road up/down the mountain!
    Imagine two cars passing with a fraction of an inch between their side mirrors and a steep drop down with no barrier at the edge of the road! But don't let that scare you!
    If you get the chance to take the road to the top by all means do it! The views are breath-taking and will afford everyone a zen-like experience.

    ... the light! Walking back was slippery in parts but downhill, so took only 40 minutes and we arrived back at the car hungry and ready for dinner.

    Driving back to the hostel we wondered whether it qualified as a hike. When does a walk become a hike?     ... speaking province. All the road signs are in French (no English) and looked nothing like the road signs we've become familiar with in France.

    The further we drove the heavier the snow was getting and the outside temperature is now 28 degrees Fahrenheit, enough for the water on the highway to freeze and that was a bit worrying.
    By the time we were on the outskirts of Quebec the snow is starting to get much heavier and visibility a few hundred metres.

    ... and people are getting the beach towels out. She laughed in our faces when we asked her if she was too cold and preferred to move somewhere warmer like Florida.
