... try to buy Soe duty free but find that we are not allowed to take any liquid over 100ml onboard so duty free purchases are out of the question!!

Our Qantas flight to Sydney is on time but after take off the Captain announces that the flight I'll take about 45. Minutes longer than usual as he will need to take an alternative route due to volcanic activity, We don't know where the volcanic activity is....but are sliced that w are going to avoid it!!

... after the craziness of Koh Tao. We had learned from David and Karin, our Swedish friends, that the taxi was 300 baht per person, for a one way ride. That works out to be a 60 dollar cab ride and not much of an adventure. So, Paul decided to rent a jeep. He pulled up to us in an old jeep/pickup truck named Big Boss. I really loved my full moon experience. For me it was more of a fun party than a crazy rave, but I guess everybody experiences it differently. I drank responsibly and tried to be safe all the time, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. When I jumped off the taxi to get back to the hotel, I started feeling the pain on my ankle again. The pain was away only for the full moon party duration. I guess that was my cinderella moment... I limped back ...

Snorkeling

The four of us (Olivier, Chloe, Claudie and I) wanted to do more snorkeling in the morning and set out to swim across the entire bay to a little hidden beach which was suggested to us. It took a while to get there but was well worth the effort.

There were swarms of fish in crystal clear water, who were not the least interested in us being there. They just swam around us and pretended we weren't there. It was an even more colourful display of sea life than the day ...
