... Back to the hotel on the bike taxi who kindly waited for me till I sorted all this out. I was exhausted from such a stressful day so the afternoon was chilling by the pool with a break for some food and to book diving for our last day tomorrow. Me and Kim were both certified so we booked two fun dives in the morning, leaving at 6am. That meant no bar crawl tonight as we couldn't be hungover. He spent an hour and a half going through the 5 skills we were going to learn today but he was like don't worry if you forget, we will be going over them all in the water. We took our bags off the roof rack twice before he decided we were actually staying on there; soon found out there was no actual point in us getting on the truck because it would have been quicker to walk! We could see the ferry port from ...

... we reached the top, we walked round the ancient Buddhist temple, looking out upon the awesome views of the Thai countryside, pausing to light a candle. On the way down, we passed wild monkeys, sitting on the fences munching on fruit donated by the visitors. Very exciting, and we gave them a piece of mango we had bought. Carmel let me drive the moped back to the hostel which was fun but rather scary regarding the other Thai drivers. After a few swerved stops and starts, I ...
