    ... Celsius. It only costs $6.50 to get into the pools and you can stay there the entire day. They call them 'soaking pools'. These are Canada's largest hot spring pools.

    It's been pretty hot here the last few days...high 90's. The good thing is that it gets chilly at night ....good sleeping weather.

    So I've recently decided I'm going to travel America with bare minimum.... and by all means possible!.....

    I will carry nothing but a medium sized backpack.... with the essentials... ( yet to be decided ); and will endeavor to travel from Vancouver to the end destination.... Miami.

    ... as well as a huge number of people packing it in early to begin their next adventure. Unfortunately this seems to create a viscious circle in that the closer we get to the end of the season, the more people leave, and the less time off we get to explore Canada. Added to this turmoil is the fact that in approximately 5 weeks the season will be over, Canada will be a distant memory and when people ask where I went, I will not have much to ...

    ... back to the hostel bar after this and had a few drinks before bed.

    Day 2 in Vancouver saw us getting up at some ungodly hour to get to orientation at 9.30. Applied for SIN numbers and bank accounts and phones. Decided that Canada is just about the most expensive place to live in the world! They have no such thing as internet transfers, you have to pay for every transaction and you have to pay for incoming text messages... WTF!
