when I get into economics discussions with people I’m the liberal in the debate

Had a perfect travel day yesterday. Actually got away early, 8:45, and had beautiful cold clear weather all day. It was only once we got close to Portland that we saw any snow at all and there it was only deep in the bush. But shortly after we stopped for the night the snow started. It looks like we got about 3" overnight. Luckily we're heading south! Had great Chinese food last night. Who knew we'd find it in Maine! Here's what morning looked like - winter ...

      Cathy back.....
As we were walking to the waterfront on instructions from the hotel, I was convinced we were in the wrong place as there was no one anywhere near us! It was cold - about minus 7 - so we were going into many shops just to warm up! When I saw a cheese shop that had samples it was like a dream!! The cheese was all made in Vermont and was delicious. We got talking to the lady about how we'd been hoping to see snow . She suggested if we drive inland about ...

We landed 30 minutes early in Portland, Maine. Got our luggage and rental car. We hit the road in our white Ford Caravan. I think we were all hungry so we headed for breakfast. We had breakfast/lunch at Bernie's Foreside. Yummy breakfast. Emily had blueberry pancakes and I had a breakfast burrito. After breakfast we headed north to Bar Harbor. Oh I mean Bah Habba. I love the way locals say it. Luckily everyone had a chance to get a quick nap in except of course Pat (He was ...
