Gday!! Day two in sunny Sydney was extremely productive after our extensive sleep. We began with the coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi, and stopped along the way for the much anticipated 'Bronte Brunch'. (Emoff and KG had been talking about it since we booked the trip!) With several weeks in Oz still to go, it was brave of Erica to suggest in the last update that our chances of being attacked by a dingo were over - something that passed through my mind when one of them bolted frantically towards us at the beach on Fraser Island a few days later. ... sat and enjoyed the lights from the Opera Bar which is the best place to look out over the bridge and up at the opera house. All of this was followed by a great night out with all the people in the hostel and an introduction to 'goon' which is essentially really cheap wine in a box which they sell for 10 dollars for 4 litres of the stuff. Thought we might try and keep track of John and Val as they head off on their big adventure.
If I get any updates or as a 'milestone' passes I might try and give an update. Not sure how this is going to work, but my thoughts are that I might get some info from Michael's son Andrew and I can feed into this site.
Anyway.....lets see how we go.
