... guaranteed to see monkeys up the river and we didn't even see those. The jungle itself formed a tunnel for us to kayak through which was quite amazing with all of the different trees and vines. After this is was back to the project to give a bespoke paint job to a door for the new building. We chose a very ambitious paint scheme of baby blue with purple inserts and white pin striping. We have turtle talks as was needed and the afternoon was gone before we knew it! That evening ...

In all my wisdom I'm still wearing my flip-flops convinced they will grip enough to carry me over the mini mountain we're balanced upon....no time for thought, onward and upward we go. I put my hand out to grab a rock for grip and an 8 inch yellow centipede crawls across - I shout some ...

... and has a nice resort, it's just 10 minutes further South.

It's just another 20 minutes more to Air Batang, also referred to as ABC, and the numerous chalets/resorts along the not so nice beach (it's a bit rocky). I recommend heading past most of the places here and stopping at Sunset for pizza, you can't miss it as it's the last place before heading up some steps towards Tekek.

    There are more beaches ...
