      ... German whom I had met in the morning in the forest and they were returning from Ketek, the previous location where yesterday the ferry had dropped the vast majority of passengers while only 4- 5 had continued to ABC Air Batang, including me.
      Ketek is very disappointing and thank goodness I did not stop there. Apart from a beautiful beach near the end of the town with some bungalows not bad, the rest ...

      ... tried the fruit Durian from the locals there. Vile. Don't do it.

      Next stop was Renggis Island where we snorkeled and I saw a small shark, turtle, nemo, and amazing coral formations. so bright!
      Lunch was at the main village of Tekek, where the Malaysian family that was also on our boat tour showed us some of the local delicacies. They were so enthusiastic for us to try everything that they were buying us things from every stall ...

      So although I could go on about our many adventures (I ended up staying almost 2 weeks), I'll leave you to have a flick through the photos but it really was a beautiful place to visit and explore and make lots of new friends.

      ... me, around the corner there's a rope heading up, I grab it and all of a sudden it hits at just how mental an idea this is....but we continue on and after 10 minutes we need a break.       ... by others among the coral. There were definitely some interesting things to see when my goggles weren’t filling with water. Caroline has told me that I have a weird nose bridge, but I maintain that no goggles fit because they are designed for everybody else in the world who all have weird nose bridges.

      We spent the rest of Sunday on various boats, buses, and trains to end up back in good old Singapore just in time ...
