... The two girls who got me had backpacks on, looking like students travelling, albeit they looked Gypsyish and were very eager to help me with my unwieldy number of bags. Consolidation will be the way in the future. Twice after the theft we were offered help with our bags and our sharp retort in reply wasn't friendly but good insurance. So soon we'll be back in freezing Adelaide, looking forward to Bali that was planned for Jane's birthday ...

    1. Bread
    2. Vegetable soup or pasta
    3. Chicken, potatoes, cauliflower & beans
    4. Panaotta dessert
    5. Coffee

Went for a walk upstairs to see the sunset, Tim went down to the street, they were having some sort of youth activity & showing video onto the side of the basilica, glorious night, bed early long day tomorrow.

Very hot and ...

Love the Italian trains!!! Supposedly a 1.5 hour trip but 10 minutes out from Verona, the countryside started to look very urban and asking a local, found we had arrived already and a great flurry of cases saw us finally on the platform . Good feeling to get in the car with our own GPS and headed out of town to our accommodation At Agriturismo ...

... gate allowing entry through the city walls, and gaze from the cliff tops to the Umbrian countryside. It is another clear, beautiful day and the views are magnificent! We pass several small churches along the way and enjoy the art and frescos. It is getting close to lunch so we wind our way to the main part of town to find a spot. We find one across the Piazza from the Duomo on a pretty square full of shops, museums and restaurants. We enjoy one of the ...
