... it was much too hot. I finally tried the last common type of Japanese noodles- soba, and it was delicious. Perfect for a hot day! We were foiled from going to the park again after lunch as dark clouds were rolling in and it was thundering. We decided to hurry back to our ryokan for shelter and maybe hit the park later, maybe.
