Oh, and I must mention the ESPLANADE- it is beautiful and the Council has spent lots of money on the beautification. It's a pleasure to go for walks there.

The Nullarbor is home to the world’s longest golf course https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nullarbor _Links . We didn’t play the course but each of the roadhouses (large gas stations, often with accommodation and caravan parks) have a hole. The course also includes some normal holes at towns with a golf course.

As we were about to leave the we were treated to the spectacle of the sun glowing from below banks of black clouds and reflecting off the lake.
