Cannon Beach Town is a very quaint little seaside town and all the shops and buildings are built from wood. We wondered around for an hour or so, dipping in and out of the shops and looking at things we don't need that we still want to buy! ... is situated right on the river and blessed with an abundance of old Fir trees. It’s a pleasant place to spend a couple of nights, but not terribly exciting. A good place to catch up on your reading and planning for what lies ahead (BurningMan!) We did a lot of reading and attempted to take hikes and rode around on our bikes in circles to kill the time and get exercise. The weather was lousy, neither rain nor sun, a quiet blanket of gray ...
