Maui felt like the right place to begin our deferred time since we consider it to be "Our Happy Place". As usual, it didn't disappoint with its warmth, smells, surf, turtles, whales, and the turquoise water. After a fantastic breakfast, we went to the beach and played for several hours. It was overcast, but the water was warm. Drove into Kihei for lunch at Panda Express. Then went to Long's Drugs and picked up a boogie board. Also went to Snorkel Bob's and got my snorkeling gear. Nicholas then went back to the beach and played for another hour.
