This was a day of moving from Bussleton towards the Margaret River regin that took us all day. After school at the Bussleton Library, after lunch at our favuorite beach spot, Jacob, Lochlan and Mez got on their bikes and cycled along the Cape to Cape Pathway from Bussleton to Dunsborough. We thought it was about 12 kilometers and that would be manageable as the whole way is falt and very picturesque. ...

... to check out for bushwalking along this stunning coastal scenery. Highly recommended!

From Conto's we head further south to Hamelin Bay, effectively just a caravan park on a spectacular bay. Day 1 at Hamelin was sunshine and swimming, with day 2 being wind and drizzle with more to come, so we decide to move away from the coast and head inland again.

So, its on we go as we slowly head towards home.

We'd decided to go whale watching, only to find the heavens had opened up and it was set to be a terrible day at sea. I'd once been out crocodile watching but ...

We actually managed to play bowls! Carried the bowls with us on the road and apart from an intensive 9weeks for Kevin whilst we were in Narrabeen Caravan Park , and a game in Adelaide while I was away, this was our first game! We played at Margaret River Bowling Club. It was Mothers Day so only 11 of us playing. (If you aren't a bowler you might want to skip to the next paragraph, or you might wake up with your tea cold, or your beer warm!) The game is ...

... that it's completely free! The tasting samples aren't as big as in NZ and Argentina but that's understandable when you don't have to pay for them. After lunch we headed to a chocolate factory where we again sampled the free delights as well as some choccie liquors and various chutneys. By then we were pretty full up and tired so headed back to Dunsborough. A great day in beautiful Margaret River and tonight we stayed in for dinner and were all in bed by 10pm - crazy ...
