        ... First stop was Yallingup Beach. A really nice spot and it would great to swim when the water was warm. It is great for the kids to with the waves crashing at a distance and calm shallow waters for about 100m.

        Next was Canal Rocks with a short boardwalk weaving over the water. There was a bridge over a section of gushing water and it was crystal clear. Definitely a ...

        7/9/15. drove to Cape Leeuwin near Augusta WA and surrounding townships along the way.
        lunch at Margaret River pub and of course a wine for the region.......checked out the surf beaches around here, then back to camp on the farm....

        ... the only ones in the cave that morning so it is creepy, dark dark, and quiet. We clamber down with the aid of ropes, squish our butts through small openings, and pull ourselves back up through a rock chimney. In all we descend 87 meters and it takes us an hour to walk through the cave. The path through the cave is well laid out, but I am astounded they let people like me down here alone.         ... We arrived at just after 3pm and had just walked 27kms!!

        We were exhausted. The long soft sand sections were tough and it was a fairly warm day so we decided to get our bathers/boardies on and head to the beach for a swim to wash away the sweat and dirt and soothe the muscles.

        ... harbour area. It's a very beautiful city with a lot of character. If we would have timed it differently we could have had fish and chips at what is supposed to be Australia's best spot. We drove to one of many beaches and enjoyed a swim and some sun in the 35 degree heat. The ocean felt so refreshing and it was relaxing to just lie on the beach.
