      Lovely place to stay

Really enjoyed our 2 nights at this resort. We stayed in the budget accommodation which was fine for 2 nights. If I were to return I would upgrade to one of the nicer accommodations looking over the sea.

Secluded and relaxed, beautifully located, although slightly out-of-the-way, great if you want to get away from the masses.
Great food and service from lovely people/family-run. Rooms basic (with amenities) and fairly comfortable with gorgeous views over the bay.

Went to set off home... Ross has no petrol. It's always Ross that there's something wrong with this holiday for him, bless him! Not much good luck going for him at all! Managed to find gasoline about 20 yards from where he broke down! Ross poorly tonight so didn't join us at the ...

... on the beach so the after sun we bought in Bangkok got its first real outing. Constantly breaking our rules recently, we ate at the on site restaurant for the third time in twenty four hours before booking our tickets to Krabi for the following day. It was another early start (6.20am pick up) so once we'd packed there was a relatively early night on the cards! We did have time to welcome a gecko in to the room who made his home in our door frame for a while though! Written by ...

... were all hot and sweaty by the time we got on the bus! :( The buses in Thailand aren't quite as good as the rest of Asia as they don't fully recline and no footrest, but it did the job, even though we were extremely uncomfortable!!! I finally dosed off to be awoken by a man shouting "Koh Tao, Koh Tao!" We got off, a little puzzled along with some other people, looked at the time and it was 3:40am!!! They told us to wait there as another bus was coming, ...

... we climbed to the top of one of the islands for the amazing view from the famous viewpoint! Karlienn and the boys we met in Laos arrived later on that day and we all just chilled that night!
The next few days were pretty rainy and were spent not doing much, eating, drinking, a bit of shopping and spending time on the beach when the sun came out. On the Monday night we went on the infamous Koh Tao bar crawl with everyone which was a good laugh! It ...

... heart of Tao's main tourist hub. For dinner we hit up the all you can eat pizza buffet. Dan could be forgiven for his reluctance having had pizza the night before. We got in there at just gone seven o'clock. This gave us just under two hours before the buffet would finish. Different tactics were discussed; start slowly and finish strong making full use of the time, or just blitz it early doors and taper off at the end. The waiters ...
