Got up this morning at 7 and made myself a good mug of coffee. Sunny outside and a balmy 7 degrees! Although in a typically crowded KOA this one was quiet and we had no neighbours to block our view! From Seattle, we took the Amtrak train. This was actually pleasant this time. We got a sleeper even though it wasn't overnight, because it was 8 hours and we could stretch out and relax. They start you off with a split of champagne each. All meals are included. As most of the trip was in daylight we got to see the scenery and Oregon is a very scenic state.
