We stayed in Green Turtle for a couple days before getting ready for our trek to Foxtown and Great Sale Cay and then over to Florida. As we walked around town we noticed how things had changed. We thought Green Turtle Cay was run down a bit since the last time we were here in 2011.

We were off the docks by 8 on ...

... from Allegria has stored his sailboat here the last two summers and loves it. So in the late fall or early winter we will catch the plane from Fort Lauderdale to Marsh Harbor and then ferry to the boat yard. Our insurance will cover us, since we are not in the hurricane box. And the best part, we won't have to cross the gulf stream. We'll already be here. ...

... luckily we were able to get a charter boat to take us across to Green Turtle Cay. There we checked into a beautiful room right in the marina of the fantastic Green Turtle Cay Club.

The next morning we met Lincoln Jones - the local fisherman legend and spontaneously joined him on his daily fishing trip. And well, this surely turned out to be a very good decision indeed. We headed out with his boat and soon were catching nice yellow tail snappers, ...
