... decision in retrospect, because the lakes and waterfalls are absolutely beautiful.

There's a little boat that you take from the entrance side of the bottom lake to the other side. The nice thing is that all the boats and trains are included in the ticket price, which is lovely. The far side of the bottom lake is just incredible, because you're walking on these walkways that are LITERALLY directly ...

Sorry it's a long one!! As of October 11th we officially started our workstay at the Linden Tree Ranch outside Gospic. The ranch lies just outside the Velebit National Park. ... Green pastures, rolled hay bale in paddocks. An easy pleasant drive and then the task of finding our accommodation as Tom Tom did not recognise the address. The private accommodation around the park is all Swiss chalet style houses with a number of apartments in each. All very organised with clear numbering, you just need to find where off the main road it starts. Plitvice is the largest single attraction in Croatia with people streaming in every day. I ...

... but mostly insects, and beautiful beech trees, just starting to turn to orange and drop leaves now while we are here. I was looking but didn't see any bears or wolves!!!! When we arrived to start our walk about 8.30am it was quiet and about 100 people spread from the carpark to the bus-stop at entrance 2. We boarded our bus that started our 5-6 hour trail'H'. Glad to be in the front carriage as our little bus climbed to the start of the trail at 614m, we watched the open mouths of those ...
