When the BBQ's course had run, we headed back to our rooms and switched into swim mode for a quick dip. Brian and I both admitted that the pool was actually going to be our bath for the day.     ... we were on our way we went north to a small village Kahakuloa home of the best banana bread on the planet and a wonderful roasted coconut candy!     ... road, we stopped off at The Olivine Pools. They are several tidepools located on barren lava along the ocean's edge. You needed good shoes to traverse the rugged rocks leading down to the ocean side. It is lava rock with sharp jagged edges.
