... 2 "relaxing" days. Tomorrow we will be snorkeling a few hotels down from here and not feeding the fishes local fish food like I had thought would be exciting. Apparently there are enough sharks in the area to let be in their natural state rather than unintentionally solicit them by feeding the fish for my own personal fish Paparazzi. The type where you're holding the fruit of your loins, the object of your affections, the manifestation of your life's purpose, and you're wondering what-in-the-holy-**** you ever did to deserve this misery. We tell him we have finished, and are leaving, but he sets the dog onto us anyway. The ...

... for an hour or so. We all go separate ways after brekkie - Paul and Leianna to pick up kegs for the wedding, mark and I head to makena beach, south of kihei and wailea. We drive through the really fancy bit of Maui (wailea ) to just south of makena (big) beach. Only we're on a wee secluded bay - with lots of volcanic rock pools, high breaking surf, and a nice shady spot under a ...

... It is an historic town that has been transformed into a Maui hot spot. It was once the capitol of the Hawaiian Kingdom in the early 19th century. It was also a historic whaling village during the whaling boom of the mid-1800's. The town was mentioned in the book, "Moby Dick".
