... it would be a longer way down. This was not an appealing thought, so I erred on the side of caution.

I had had enough and gave the board back to Edd, swimming with him, while he surfed. This was much more enjoyable; I was glad we only got 1 board. He needed a rest, having surfed for over an hour already, so we made our way back to shore and soaked up some rays for a little while. The biscuits were devoured and the water was luke warm, but not intolerable.

... roof top with a couple of lemon Bintang's was just perfection. First of all we dropped passengers off at Lombok, which we realises we could of got off at as it wouldn't have made any difference. But it was impossible to get our bags off with us as they were in a huge Gili t pile and it would be difficult to find ours when they were one of the first ones on. ... ace like his namesake. They just loved sitting around having a chat. While it must have been part of their job description they were genuinely interested in learning about us and sharing all about them. Doni - Bro, the smily one was married to Silvi from the Spa. They had 2 young children (boy 3, girl 11 months - who will be a doctor) who were being raised by the grandparent. She worked days and he worked afternoons so they passed like ships in the night. ... Dinner is at the resort where we enjoy a "cultural" night of traditional dancing and music (more like a group of guys bashing pots and pans..but hey who am I to judge culture!). Good dinner (not great). Michelle enjoyed her Prawns Provencele and I my BBQ chicken. Highlight was our desert, a chocolate and a coconut scoop of ice cream. A great day overall and ready for a good night sleep to do it all again tomorrow....ah aren't holidays great ...

... directly across the road where we joined a room of other Aussies Keen to watch. Someone in the cities even organised a tipping comp for winning margin, Norm Smith and first goal. I won neither . Mostly people went for the Hawks. It was lovely to have the footy on our right and the ocean on our left on this open air bar.
